The endeavor when dimensioning a beam traffic system is that the transport function should be performed better than today, while at the same time the cost of resources (for land, material, labor and energy) should be considerably less, and the costs to the environment (in urban areas meaning crowding, noise, exhaust fumes and accidents) should also be considerably less than the situation at hand.
